Five Goals Before 2018

Does anyone else feel like September is a little bit of a fresh start, like new year but all over again? The new school year starts, well in my case my masters course starts again, but it means fresh new everything. It’s the start of a new season and as the end of the year approaches it’s a chance to evaluate those new year goals/resolutions. I didn’t really make too many goals at the start of the year, so I have decided to make 5 mini goals to achieve before 2018.

  1. Set up my office

One of the main reasons I chose this house to move into was because it had a spare room that would be perfect for an office. Between blogging, my masters and work I spend a lot of time on the computer and working on bits and pieces. Since I moved in I haven’t really had a chance to set up my office and get it exactly how I want it. I have an idea in my head of what I would like to do, so before the end of the year I would like my perfect little creative space all set up.

  1. Get into fitness

I actually laughed at myself when I wrote this, mainly because I have no idea where to start. I enjoy being active and being out and about, but I would like to get into a better routine. I think it’s time to get my jawbone fixed, so I can start tracking my steps again.

  1. Get into a better routine

This goes hand in hand with number goal number 2, but since I moved I feel like my day to day routine has completely gone out of the window. Once uni starts again next week I am going to need all the time I can get to fit everything in, so I am going to need to get myself super organised again.

  1. Build up my wardrobe

This is one of the most exciting goals for the rest of the year, especially with the autumn season starting. If you have read my blog for a while you will have seen in wardrobe detox post that I can get a bit carried away with the wardrobe clear outs and I have stupidly left myself with an empty wardrobe for far too long. This season I plan on filling it with cosy knits, jumper dresses and boots galore!

  1. Detox

Out of all 5 goals I think this will be the most important one. I basically want to detox my life. I want to clear out my social media, my cupboards and house. I want to eat more good food, cook/bake more, spend less time on social media and be clutter free. I am going to break it down into small manageable bits and hopefully it will all be done by the end of the year.
