Supriiiiiiise – I’m back!! You might have noticed that it’s been super quiet on the blog and social media lately, but life has not been quiet that’s for sure! It’s been non-stop for weeks! So, let me give you a little life update…
Firstly and probably the biggest thing that I have been up to is moving house. This was such a bitter sweet moment for me. For those of you who don’t know, I have spent the last year living at home with my family. After moving out when I was 18 this was a massive adjustment for me, but it has honestly been an amazing year. It was so nice to spend time with my family again. It has been a year of laughter, fun and change – the good kind.
As much as I loved every minute of being at home, it was time for me to move back out and into my own little house again. I’ve gone for something a little bit bigger than my last house and I now have my own little office just for blogging (pinch me!). It’s been exciting, stressful and crazy from start to finish. I’m pretty sure all of the chaos is not over yet, but I have been here a week now and I’m still getting used to it all. However, the internet is working and I’ve eaten every day, so I would say the first week has been a success!
Next up was finishing the first year of my masters degree. It went quite smoothly for the first two semesters and then towards the end it became rather chaotic. Suddenly I had 3 assignments due with deadline dates two weeks apart. Having surgery at the start of the semester, that didn’t quite go as smoothly as I had hoped threw me off track a little bit, but all of my assignments were turned in on time and I’m happy with the grades I have had back so far! (If you’re thinking about applying for a masters I have put together all of my top tips here.)
Finally, amongst all of the chaos I have been making plans! Life plans, blog plans, plans with friends and family – you name it, I have a plan for it. A lot of these plans are all to do with change and making my life the most positive place to be. Over the next few months and year (maybe years) I am hoping to share some of these changes with you and my journey along the way. It’s all very exciting and I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2017 has in store, but first I think I need a nap to recover from all this unpacking!
What have you all been up to? Let me know in the comments so I can catch up and see what you have all been doing!
