Stepping Into Liz Earle’s World & Being Pampered

You might have noticed from my endless amounts of blog posts and YouTube videos that I am an avid Liz Earle fan. I cannot rate their products enough and my all time favourite is the Cleanse and Polish. Being a blogger and just all round skincare lover I am always testing out new products, but I always repurchase their products as I know I can rely on them to settle my Rosacea and do wonders with my skin.

Last weekend I was lucky enough to be invited to their counter in John Lewis Cardiff to learn more about their complimentary signature services and be treated to a hand and arm massage*. When the invite came through I couldn’t have been more excited and to top it off this has been my first blogger event that I have been able to take my mum with me. She is my biggest fan and listens to me ramble on about my blog 24/7, so it was so nice to take her along with me for a little treat too!

Mum and I were treated to a relaxing arm and hand massage and we got to see, smell and feel all the products in use! I picked up another Cleanse and Polish as I have just run out and I have the Superskin Night Concentrate and moisturiser on my beauty wish list as these were amazing!  Their products are all made from naturally active ingredients and include numerous essential oils. For example, the Superskin Moisturiser contains neroli; one of the most expensive essential oils, which brings that little bit of luxury to affordable everyday products. Another thing I loved is that their counters are so well thought out and so much effort goes into each little detail. For example, the product bottles are colour matched to different parts of the sea and sand in the Isle of White where Liz lives, her brand was started and where all the products are hand packaged.

Liz Earle are slightly different from normal counter services in that they don’t provide samples for their products, instead they spoil you with free 10-20 minute services from head massages to hand and arm massages and lots more. This gives you the perfect opportunity to test the products out and see exactly how they work best. We learnt how to make the most of them, as well as experiencing a little snippet of Liz’s world in the Isle of White. All Liz Earle counters offer these complimentary services and you can just pop by whenever suits you best or book online.

On top of this, the counter in John Lewis offer some amazing extras! You can host your own beauty parties with them at the counter or in one of the John Lewis restaurants/private rooms if there is more than 6 of you. There is only a £10 booking fee, which is redeemable against products and you get refreshments and nibbles too! They also hold their own parties as well, if you fancy going along to join in all the fun. If you fancy something a little more indulgent they have access to the beauty room allowing them to offer 45 minute facials. These have a £25 deposit that again is redeemable against products. These are normally available on a monthly basis and need to be booked in advance. I have signed up for their text service so that I get updates of all the best things they have on offer. I am keeping my eye out for their weekly workshops and so I can get booked in for a facial next month.  I also joined the friends of Liz Earle scheme which is a John Lewis exclusive rewards system.

A big thank you to the Liz Earle girls! They were so friendly, professional and so knowledgeable about the brand and products. Mum and I had a fantastic morning being spoilt and pampered. If you are a Liz Earle fan or you haven’t tried their products before then I would definitely recommend popping by to see them, learning more about their products and be pampered!
