There is nothing better than waking up later than normal on a Saturday morning and not having to make breakfast … or in my case brunch. I love to try new little places to eat and a few weekends ago we decided to try a gourmet deli near where we live.
The chalk board menu was packed with lots to choose from and I finally settled on the turkey and cranberry baguette with a double chocolate milkshake to finish it off. Ryan chose the Manuca breakfast and I don’t think I have ever seen a plate so big. So big that he didn’t mind me stealing a slice of his heavenly chunky toast.
The food was delicious and I can’t wait to go back and try the ‘Dirty Beans on Toast’. Of course I may have to try another flavour of their milkshakes or even a cosy hot chocolate. I certainly won’t be leaving without my own loaf of bread either. That buttery chunky toast would certainly make my Monday mornings so much better.
