As someone who always has a growing wish list of beauty items that I would like to try, I get so excited whenever I get to tick some of them off. I get even more excited when they turn out to be bloody fantastic. It makes the investment so much more worth while (no matter what the price was). I had a few bits from Clarins on my wish list recently and my family kindly bought them for me for Christmas. I started using them straight away and I have loved them all so much that I thought they deserved their own little blog post.
Clarins – BB Skin Perfecting Cream
Shade 00 Fair
This has been on my wish list for far too long after trying a sample of it last year. I instantly fell in love and knew I needed to purchase a full size bottle. It has the fantastic advantages of a B.B. cream, in that it is really lightweight and feels as though you are hardly wearing anything at all. Unexpectedly the coverage is amazing for a BB cream and compares to some foundation that I have used. This is what I love about it most. As someone with rosacea, I find it really difficult to cover up the redness. To find a B.B. cream that covers it extremely well, but leaves my skin feeling fresh is my perfect go to product for everyday use. It gives my skin an even complexion, whilst still allowing it to look natural. I wear the shade 00 fair and it’s a perfect match for me. I have dry to combination skin and the lady at Clarins recommended this one for me, however if you have oily skin she said that the Detox Fluid may be better.
Clarins – Natural Lip Balm Perfectors
Shade 06 Rosewood
I will admit I am not a massive lip product person. I am always drawn to so many lipsticks, balms, stains and glosses, but I always put them back on the shelf because I hardly ever wear them. I find it so hard to find products that don’t dry my lips out, that I never bother investing. That changed when I tried the lip perfectors! This is a lip balm with a buildable colour that leaves your lips looking healthy and hydrated. It glides onto the lips without dragging and finishes off an everyday makeup look perfectly.
Clarins – Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors
Shade 07 Toffee Pink Shimmer
This is very similar to the other lip product, however it has more of a glossy texture. However, it isn’t sticky or tacky, it’s more gel like – another bonus! These are a little more sheer like most glosses, but again perfect for everyday use or for a subtle evening look. They smell amazing and leave my lips looking smooth.
I love both of these lip products so much that I would happily buy all of the shades in both ranges – something I never thought I would say!
Clarins – Multi Active Night Cream
For normal to combination skin
This was a 30ml sample that came with the other bits, but I am so glad that I have tried it. I am always looking for new skincare products as it’s one of my favourite things to discover. I like my night creams to be hydrating and plumping. I try to look for something that’s going to help my skin whilst I sleep and I think this does just that.

You might have seen in my 5 beauty habits for 2018 post that I am hoping to experiment and treat myself a little more this year, so I have been looking at what I would like to try next. After falling so much in love with these products I have since created a Clarins wish with all of the other bits I would love to try.

Blue Orchid Facial Oil – I have heard so many amazing things about this!
