Can you think of a time when it’s been a rubbish day or you were feeling meh and all you could think about was a nice long bath and your PJs? Yeah me too! To be honest I crave nice long baths at least once a week, regardless of whether it’s been good or not (just more so when it’s been rubbish). So when all you can think about is that nice long bath, what products spring to mind? I thought I would share with you my current go to bath time essentials for the ultimate pampering session.

So, first things first is of course all the bubbles in the world and where better to start than with a Lush bubble bar or even your favourite bath bomb. I love these so much that I don’t think I can have a bath now without some sort of Lush treat; it’s just not quite the same. I’m not going to lie; I am still working on my Christmas collection although this is the last one. I think a little trip to check out the new Easter collection is needed. Lush is also perfect for their shower gels. They don’t dry out my skin and they have the best scents (especially bubbly).

I also love to use my baths as bit of a mini detox. I always use these Epsom salts, which are great for relaxing your muscles and drawing toxins out of your body. These are really reasonable; I normally pick mine up in somewhere like Home Bargains for around £2.50 a bag. They also have lots of other salts available that I really would like to try. The dead sea and himalayan one looks lovely and both have different properties to help your skin and body.

A big glass of water is another one of my essentials. I like my baths really hot, so water is definitely needed to help keep me hydrated!  I also find that because I have to sit in the same place for a while, a bath is the perfect time to use a face mask without getting it all over me, my clothes and the house. I have been loving the Lush mask of magnaminty lately for exfoliating and brightening my skin (I have a little review of it here). I also have my eye on a Glam Glow mask, as I have heard such good things about them.

Of course you can’t forget a good body scrub too! I never used to bother with these too much, purely because of all the mess. I then bought a Soap and Glory one that I absolutely loved and used every time I had a bath and was instantly hooked! Recently I have been testing out this one from Westlab (the same company that make the bath salts) and I am loving it! Plus it smells amazing and it’s really refreshing!

What are your bath time essentials? Let me know in the comments if there is anything I need to try.

Ooooh! I have heard so many great things about Mask Of Magnaminty! It could possibly become my next purchase when I visit Lush again 😉

I completely agree with Bubbly – but why can’t we have it all year around?! It’s too beautiful!

Again, so, so jealous of the photography skills you have going on girl! 😀
