Does anyone else look at all the sale items online and then never actually buy anything? I do it all the time … except this time. I was sat browsing through the sales on my iPad whilst watching rubbish tv on a Saturday night and I came across this beauty. It is the small Cedar Street Stacy in the shade ‘Cherry Liqueur’.
The purse is a gorgeous fire engine red with a black and cream polka dot print on the inside. It is made from saffiano leather with 14-karat light gold plated hardware and has an embossed Kate Spade New York signature with a light gold spade stud. Inside there is one slot for notes, one ID/photo slot, 4 card slots and then the zip pocket on the back for change.
I am always changing handbags and I don’t mind emptying the contents of one into the other, but I cannot stand changing all the bits in my purse over to another one. At the moment I have a really nice purse from River Island, but it’s quite big and bulky. It means I am a bit limited to which handbags I can use, as I cant always fit it in. I decided to choose one that was slightly smaller that will fit in any bag (even a clutch bag) and one that I can still fit all of my essential cards/bits and pieces in.
I have always wanted to purchase something from the Kate Spade range as I am really interested to see how they wear. I thought there was nothing better to try than a purse as it is something I will use everyday … it also helped justify the little bit of extra money that I spent. As a designer brand their accessories have slightly higher prices that most high street stores, however I managed to pick this up for only £35 instead of £70!
