If you live locally you may know that Cardiff’s high street has welcomed a long awaited new Lush store. They kindly invited me to check out the new store the night before the big opening. We spent the evening checking out all the new things it had to offer and learning all about their infamous spa treatments – all whilst drinking candy floss cocktails of course!
As always the staff were absolutely lovely and so knowledgeable about all of the products and treatments! Zoe and I were partnered up with the gorgeous Lowri and we made our way around each part of the store looking, smelling and testing out everything they have on offer. My favourite was hair section with it’s own styling station, as well as the skincare section (no surprises there).
I always head into Lush to pick up bath bombs and melts and get so easily side tracked by the colours, glitters and smells that I miss out on everything else they have to offer. It was nice to learn so much about all the other things they make and I even managed to pick up some new treats too. We were also treated to lovely arm massages, potted our own Rosy Cheeks face mask that was made right in front of us, as well as making the ultimate bath bomb Golden Slumbers!
Not only is the new store so much bigger, it is filled with a huge selection products; including some of the Oxford street exclusives. They even had their own exclusive Snow Fairy fragrance! As well as being spoilt for choice with all their goodies the new store has a spa where you can relax and indulge in the ultimate Lush experience. There are around 10 (soon to be 11) spa treatments to choose from. They vary in length and they range from from £50 to £285. Each one has a different theme, rating for undressing and even it’s own music soundtrack!
The comforter with it’s chocolate, candy floss, rose and all things sweet definitely sounds like my idea of heaven! I am hoping I can get myself booked in soon as a little treat and then I can share my thoughts about it with you.
You can read about all the different treatments here:
The Comforter / The Planets / Karma (coming soon) / The Good Hour / Tailor Made / Synaesthesia / Hard Days Night / The Sound Bath / Validation Facial / The Spell / Tales of Bath
If you are in town, I would definitely recommend popping in and seeing what the new store has to offer. If you don’t live in Cardiff, not to worry there are 7 other spas across the country and you can find your nearest one here.
Have you had a Lush Spa treatment before? Let me know in the comments what you thought and if you haven’t let me know which one you would love to try!
