Last week I was kindly invited to the Lush launch of their winter collection in Cardiff. I have never been to one of their blogger events before, so I was absolutely over the moon when that email hit my inbox. Needless to say the event was fantastic, we were introduced to all the products in the new range and got to try everything or see it all in action. To top it off there was some amazing vegan and gluten free food from Atma, which is just around the corner if you’re interested in trying them out.

I am someone who shops in Lush quite regularly, maybe once a month (it would be more like weekly if I lived closer). That being said, let’s just talk about how I’ve been living under a rock. I did not know that Lush had so many different products let alone release so many things that are winter inspired! I guess I am one of those people who gets so easily distracted by the bath bombs and bubble bars as soon as I get in the door and I have been seriously missing out on all the other good stuff.

So as there were so many amazing products, I thought I would give you a quick rundown of some of them. If you live near a Lush store, I definitely recommend you head down there and check it all out for yourself. Also if you have time, grab one of the girls and get them to show you how some of them work. They are all lovely and really knowledgeable about the products which means they can give you advice on what suits your needs.

Shower Gels, Creams & Jellies

So as you may already know Snow Fairy and Rose Jam has hit the shelves again this year and Snow Fairy in particular is also available in a whopping 1kg bottle! There are however some new ones too, including Lord of Misrule with a spicy black pepper scent and Bubbly which has a really fresh champagne citrus scent. It immediately reminded me of Bucks Fizz on Christmas morning and also happens to be my new favorite!

Santa’s Belly, which is an apple scented jelly is available again this year as well as Snowman with a slightly sweeter smell. They leave your skin smelling amazing and feeling super soft.

Skincare

The roulades were super popular on the night and I can definitely see why! These are super creamy and great for that dry winter skin. Candy Cane of course has peppermint undertones and Yule Log is really sweet. There is a new face and body cleanser Buche Du Neol, which is full of ground almond goodness. Also don’t forget to test out the dusting powders next time you are in there … all I am going to say is think unicorn talc!

Soaps

The soap selection is amazing this year, with so many different scents. Raindeer Rock was my favourite, which had what I thought was a clean, marine scent. It’s also sold as one piece as well, so there is no need to have it weighed out. Shooting Stars also looked and smelt amazing as did Santa’s Postbox!

Bath Bombs, Melts & Bubble Bars

Where do I even start? The range is definitely on point this season! We were spoilt for choice with all the new ones to smell and test. My favourites were definitely Golden Wonder, Monster’s Ball and Snowie. Autumn Leaf also happens to be the most Instagram worthy bath bomb ever, it’s absolutely gorgeous in the water.

As you can imagine there are loads more pieces in the collection, each with their own special scent so it’s definitely worth popping in just to see it in all its glory.  A big thank you to Lush for having me, it was a fantastic night and I can’t wait to try it all again at home.
