As you may have seen in my recent vlogs, I have had a few days off work thanks to some glorious bank holidays. On Good Friday, we decided to head into Cardiff super early (aka before all the crazy shoppers) so that we could have a mooch around for some holiday clothes…Oh and a sneaky trip to Costco. Luckily we had brilliant sunshine, but it was still a little chilly. As for my outfit, I decided to go for the comfy casuals theme (do I ever choose anything else??).
I paired my new ripped boyfriend jeans from my recent Primark haul with a plain fitted white t-shirt. I have to say these are probably one of the best pair of jeans I have ever bought! They are so comfortable, yet still very chic. I then chose to wear my black blazer to pull the outfit together and make it a little bit smarter.
I then chose to finish the look with my infamous black ghillie shoes that I picked up in New Look last year. I absolutely love mine and I have worn them to death. They are perfect for finishing off so many outfits and complement so many different styles. I feel like they just add something a little extra to any outfit compared to other plain black flats. Both New Look and Primark have some great pairs in their collection this season if you are looking for a bargain. I love these ones.
The look wouldn’t be complete without a few accessories and as it was a little chilly, I bundled myself up in my reversible scarf from Primark. I love oversized scarves and this is one of my favourites; its super cosy but still on trend. As we had a full day of shopping ahead the thought of carrying a bag in my hand or on my arm all day seemed a little like torture, so I opted for this black New Look bag with gold hardware that has a long shoulder strap. Its just the right size; I can fit in all of the essentials including my vlogging camera and its super easy to carry around all day.
This outfit was perfect for me, it was a busy day and I didn’t feel uncomfortable once… even after my Costco hotdog! Let me know in the comments below what you like to wear on days when your out and about and on the go?
