The Wax Melts That Smell Like Your Favourite Perfumes

Wax melts

So we all know I love to share my new favourite things on here and today’s post is no different. A few weeks ago, I found a lovely company on Instagram who make wax melts. I was instantly intrigued by all their different scents; especially when I found out they have some that match my favourite perfumes! I thought this was too good to be true, so I ordered some straight away, just so I could test them out.

Where do I start?!

I have been so excited to share these with you all, as I cannot tell you how surprised and impressed I was; the scents were exactly spot on! I tested UFO first and my living room smelt just like the perfume bottle and Flower Explosion was just the same. I now follow U Melt Me on Instagram and see their regular updates on the new scents that are released each month and the selection just seem to keep on getting better. There is a mix of classic fragrances like Chanel Mademoiselle, to Marc Jacobs Daisy to Jo Malone’s pomegranate noir and even some of The White Company fragrances too. Not to mention the selection of signature scents such as clean sheets* and cliff walks.

In my first order, I bought a mixture of Flower Explosion which smells like Flowerbomb by Victor and Rolf, as well as UFO which is like Alien by Thierry Mugler. I thought these were two very distinct fragrances and I would know straight away how good they were. I just never thought they would be so spot on! Since then I have been kindly gifted with some extra ones to add to my collection and I now can’t choose what to melt first.

The melts are normally £2.50 for 4 from their Etsy shop and they are slightly smaller than Yankee candle melts. The site says you can use one or two at a time, but I found one worked perfectly in my living room and it could be smelt out in the hall way too! The melts are all handmade in west Wales and are more natural that other melts as they are made from soy and beeswax rather than normal paraffin. They also have lovely gift sets too, if you’re looking for a mixture of fragrances or mystery sets if you’re like me and struggle to pick from them all! U Melt Me can also cater for things like wedding favours and they look absolutely adorable! You can find some pictures and more information here.

If you are a candle or wax melt lover like I am, I cannot recommend them enough. I have been a Yankee candle lover for years and have just never really found anything that can compete with them until now. If you want your home to smell like your favourite fragrances or even a signature scent such as clean sheets, then I would definitely recommend trying them out.
