Skincare Review: L’Oreal Triple Active Nourish Moisturiser

Skincare Review: L’Oreal Triple Active Nourish Moisturiser

A few weeks ago I suddenly realised I had run out of moisturiser, which is unlike me as I usually have quite a few in the house. So after my mini meltdown, I took a late night trip to Tesco to pick up whatever I could find. I managed to pick up one from the L’Oreal Triple Active range. I chose the ’Nourish’ one which is a 24 hour intense hydrating moisturiser. The weather has turned really cold recently and I need something to help put all the moisture back into my skin.

The packaging states that it designed to hydrate, protect and nourish the skin and it feels as though thats is exactly what it does. The consistency is really thick and more like a night cream. Don’t get me wrong I have used it quite a lot during the day, but usually on days where I don’t wear any or very little makeup. It sinks in to the skin well and isn’t greasy, I just normally prefer something a little lighter as a base for my makeup. When I use it at night I always wake up with fresh and plump skin and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed.

When I used it the first time there was quite a strong fragrance that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. After a few days I suddenly realised it smelt just like baby powder. I am not normally a fan of strong fragrances in moisturisers, but this one was quite fresh.

A 50ml tub is normally £6.49, which I think is an absolute bargain for a good hydrating cream that will last quite a while. To top it off I found mine on sale for an amazing £3.25 in Tesco! The triple active range has quite a few moisturisers to choose from and I am definitely interested in trying a few more. I think the ‘Day’ one might be better for lots of makeup days.
